2016 The Super T – Victoria
This is our homage to the renegade wines of Italy that broke tradition by blending international varieties with the indigenous Sangiovese. Hugely controversial, these wines literally turned Italian wine on its head.
With a nod to those pioneers, this is our Australian Super T Blend. All wild fermented and bottled unfiltered, this wine highlights the juiciness of Heathcote Sangiovese and tempers it with some classy elegance from the cooler Sunbury vineyard Cab and Merlot.
To ensure your wine arrives at your door safely and in drinkable condition, please make sure you order it in multiples of six, as a straight or mixed case across our range.
Born
Sangiovese from the Camelback vineyard in Heathcote, Cabernet and Merlot are grown and co-fermented from the Rockbank vineyard in Sunbury.
Raised
The Super T is our rebellious red blend, wild fermented and bottled unfiltered and unfined. It’s bold, beautiful and, we think, rather super.
