Sunbury deserves some more love on the wine front, we love the prettiness the shiraz from the Rockbank vineyard shows, feminine, bright and highly drinkable. We fermented with 55% whole bunch and aged for 13 months in a mix of oak sizes and ages (10% new), then rested in tank for 5 months before bottling. Cranberry, fresh damson, pink peppercorns and pepperberry notes round out very drinkable modern Victorian Shiraz.

Gown at the Rockbank vineyard in Sunbury, mature vines on loam over volcanic subsoils produce intense and perfumed fruit perfect for some whole bunch.
Raised
55% whole bunches in the ferment, early pump-overs for light extraction and to keep the lifted fruit. A mix of 1- and 2-year-old large format French oak for 11 months. No fining.
